Last month we received some very exciting news from our customer X-IO. We have been working with X-IO for a couple years now and have developed a great partnership centered on solving enterprise storage needs. Well, that work has paid off!
During last month’s Microsoft TechEd North America event, X-IO’s Hyper ISE was given both the “Attendees Pick” award for the second straight year, and the “Best Hardware and Storage Product” award! You may be asking, why are you so excited, Esther? The Hyper ISE has our XceedIOPS SAS SSDs inside!
Leveraging 20 XceedIOPS SSDs, the Hyper ISE is able to reach extremely high performance levels, including up to 1.4GB/s read/write bandwidth and up to 200,000 random read IOPS. Our XceedIOPS SSDs also bring a complete lineup of enterprise features to the Hyper ISE, including high reliability backup power circuitry, AES-128-bit encryption, data fail recovery, and high data reliability.
This is a significant milestone for both X-IO and SMART Storage Systems. Congratulations on the win to the X-IO team, and we look forward to working together to continue designing innovative products for real life enterprise applications!
